WBC champion Tyson Fury has admitted he is “in limbo” as he awaits the official announcement of his historic heavyweight title bout with Oleksandr Usyk.

The bout will be the first heavyweight title fight of its kind since the beginning of the four-belt era and will crown the undisputed champion of the division, a feat unachieved since Lennox Lewis in 2000.

Considered by many boxing fans to be the must-see bout of 2023, both Fury and Usyk continue to send public calls to each other in anticipation of the epic fight.

In an interview with Sky Sports, Tyson Fury revealed that he, like his fans, is currently left in the dark and is eagerly awaiting an official announcement when the match will take place.

“We are just waiting for an announcement. I am at a loss like the rest of the world. I just want to fight. If I’m not going to fight, just tell me.

Saudi Arabia is most likely where Anthony Joshua fought Andy Ruiz for the second time in 2019 and a rematch with Usyk in 2022.
