After a tumultuous season that tested their mettle and coolness, Millikan’s boys’ soccer beat Jordan 6-1 on Wednesday to clinch their first Moore League title since 2018.
“It feels great to have it back,” said Millikan captain Isaac Machuca. “People said our program was down, but we’re here to show it’s back. From the first second of the season, they named their group chat ‘2023 Moore League Champions’ and revealed it. We longed for it and we proved it today. ”
Millikan (13-4-7, 8-1-3) is unbeaten in eight games and needs to win the last three games of the regular season against Lakewood, Compton and Jordan to clinch the title. had.
