CELLERSBURG — Clarksville broke its six-game losing streak in Styles Wednesday night, beating rival Charlestown 79-65 in a consolation match for the Silver Creek Holiday Tournament.

The Generals (2-7) had three 20-point scorers looking to avenge their December 9 loss to the Pirates.

Clarksville head coach Kyle Hankins said, “As long as we play together, I think we’re going to play some of our best basketball in the second half of the year.” You did a great job knocking down the shot.”

Clarksville’s Landon Radlin had seven triples to lead all scorers with 23. Morgan Capps had 21 and Jacob Seward added 20 and had 11 in the fourth quarter.

Charlestown (5-5), who have not won a holiday tournament since 2018, led 19-14 at the first stop. However, Clarksville rallied in his second frame and at the break he scored a 33-26 advantage.
