The Carpinteria boys fell behind early on, losing to Fillmore in their Citrus Coast League match on Friday.

The Warriors then started creating chances but were unable to tie the game. Fillmore kept the pressure on and he took a 2-0 lead at half-time. Carpinteria played hard in the second half, but a foul in the box in the 50th minute gave Fillmore a penalty kick to convert to a 3–0 lead. The final score came 15 minutes later.
“The Warriors fought hard but couldn’t create scoring chances to get back in the game,” Carpinteria manager Jerry Rodriguez said.
The Warriors will host Malibu next week.
