The Croatian’s current health is a problem plaguing Madrid staff, with Modric spending time on the sidelines since the 2022 World Cup ended. <\/b>Signs of fatigue in the Super Cup final against Bar\u00e7a led Ancelotti to exclude him from the match at Villarreal, believing Modric unfit for three matches (Barcelona, \u200b\u200bVillarreal and Athletic) in just eight days. Ancelotti explained that he has withdrawn from La Ceramica because he is not yet “optimal”.<\/b><\/p>\n

A big February for Real Madrid<\/h4>\n

Modric was eased after the World Cup. In the Super Cup, he played 75 minutes against Valencia and 65 minutes against El Clasico. The 37-year-old wants to give him a mini-break to maintain his endurance in a season that is pushing his players harder than ever. <\/b><\/p>\n
