The Tigers have slipped to a record of 7-1-1 and 2-1 in the Rio Hondo League.<\/span><\/p>\n From kickoff, the Rams were closing in on the Tigers’ defense on every front. However, each shot was deflected and by the time the halftime buzzer sounded, the Rams were leading 2\u20130.<\/span><\/p>\n After halftime, both teams re-energized and the Tigers appeared to be stuck in the same position.<\/span><\/p>\n However, the Tigers quickly got lucky when Hartstein dived in for a shot from the Rams and blocked the ball. The Rams quickly got possession of the ball again, but she blocked the second shot and returned it to the Tigers’ hands.<\/span><\/p>\n On the next play, Kowal dribbled the ball into the opponent’s field and seized an opportunity. She shot the ball towards the goal, which flew through the air and entered the net cleanly, giving the Tigers their first goal of the game.<\/span><\/p>\n In this turn of events, the Tigers pushed the Rams towards the opposite field, but the Rams managed to break through the defense and move onto the defensive field.
