Despite being considered a big favorite, Lomachenko (17-2, 11 KOs) struggled hard to emerge victorious that night by unanimous decision. Haney, meanwhile, spent 2022 ending an ongoing beef with George Kambosos Jr.<\/p>\n
The flamboyant American holds a perfect and dominant record, but Lopez Sr. is unimpressed by his overall skill. If not, the 24-year-old Lomachenko’s refusal to sit punches and produce more on the offensive side will lead to his downfall.<\/p>\n
