Denver (AP) \u2014<\/strong> Denver big man Nikola Jokic missed Friday night’s game against Indiana with a stiff left hamstring.<\/p>\n

they didn’t need him.<\/p>\n

Jamal Murray recorded his first career triple-double as Denver extended their winning streak to nine games with a 134-111 win over the Indiana Pacers.<\/p>\n

Murray had 17 points, 14 assists and 10 rebounds, imitating Jokic at his best.<\/p>\n

“He steals a lot of my triple-doubles,” Murray joked after the game.<\/p>\n

Jokic, who leads the league with 14 triple-doubles, took a courtside seat at the Jamal Murray Show to congratulate his point guard teammates after the feat.<\/p>\n

Jokic sat out last week to rest his sore right wrist. He also missed three games in November due to NBA health and safety protocols.<\/p>\n

The two-time Kia MVP has had triple-doubles in five of his last six games. He is averaging 25.1 points, 11 rebounds and 9.9 assists this season.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
