LOS ANGELES — Sacramento coach Mike Brown has praised the team’s depth all season long. The Kings showed it Wednesday night by sidelining one of their top players.<\/p>\n
The Kings extended their winning streak to five with a 116-111 victory, 32 points clear of De’Aaron Fox, despite Domantas Sabonis being sidelined ill.<\/p>\n
“It was a good win for the players. We’ve been saying all year that we feel like we’re a deep team,” Brown said.<\/p>\n
\u201cDomantas is a big part of our offense. He brought us some separation when<\/p>\n
All five starters scored in double figures for Sacramento, including Rishaun Harris, who started in place of Sabonis and had a season-high 16 points and 11 rebounds.<\/p>\n
“Domantas is not a man to be replaced as a person,” Harris said. “We wanted to step up as a committee, so we wanted to control the glass as much as possible.”<\/p>\n
Harrison Barnes added 20 points and Kevin Harter scored 18 points to help the Kings (25-18) move to third in the Western Conference.<\/p>\n
It is also the first time since 2004-05 that the Kings have won at least two consecutive five games in a single season. Seven games were played in November.<\/p>\n
LeBron James led Los Angeles with 32 points and Russell Westbrook added 19 points.<\/p>\n
“We’re definitely a ball club with no room for error. We just have to keep playing like we’ve been playing the last few games and keep playing error-free basketball,” James said.<\/p>\n
