The Boston Celtics would like to forget their NBA Finals loss once and for all, but they keep reminding themselves of it.<\/p>\n

Especially this week, when the Golden State Warriors play Thursday night at TD Garden, after winning the title on the famous parquet in June.<\/p>\n

But the time left out of the finals gives us more perspective on what went wrong in Boston.<\/p>\n

For Jaylen Brown and other Celtics teammates, the loss on the high stage still hurts, but it provided them with a lesson that Brown feels he’s put to good use this season. <\/p>\n

“Calm down. I think I can watch and read the game.” Mr Brown told reporters<\/a> After practice Wednesday, according to NBC Sports Boston. \u201cI think we have to grow every time in terms of reading and doing things like that, which I think we’ve gotten better at. Seeing the game and understanding what they wanted to take away allowed us to take the leap… I think that was the biggest thing for us. I used my hands.”<\/p>\n

After facing the Warriors head-to-head in early December already this season, Brown admitted that the emotion of facing Golden State once again overwhelmed the Celtics, losing 123-107.<\/p>\n

The Celtics and Brown look set to face the Warriors after missing three straight games with a strained right adductor muscle, and will try to focus on the task at hand Thursday.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
