We do not condone the act of giving<\/p>\n<p>The New Haven school district said police and security broke up the fight.<\/p>\n<p>The Connecticut Interscholastic Athletic Conference (CIAC) said senior staff are in contact with both schools regarding the incident.<\/p>\n<p>A scheduled game between Basic High School and Wilbur Cross High School has been canceled for the rest of the week, according to school administrators.<\/p>\n<p>Officials did not say why the fight broke out.
