Beard is back to his old tricks and looking for a deep postseason run with the 76ers his team’s total points, rebounds and assists (PRA) average is his 39.9.<\/p>\n
With Harden, Joel Embiid and Tyrese Maxie all missing games this season with various injuries, health is vital in Philadelphia.<\/p>\n
But even with the trio perfectly healthy, Harden is paying off. The point guard has averaged a 41.2 PRA in his 12 games playing for both Maxxie and Embiid, and he’s cleared the line in eight of them.<\/p>\n
The Clippers have the fifth-best team defense in the league, but Harden has a lot of success against them. Over the past three seasons, Harden has crossed this line in each of his six games with Ty Lue’s club (including several with Kawhi Leonard).<\/p>\n
Embiid has had success in those matchups as well, including a 44-point performance against the Clippers earlier this season. But despite the big man’s brilliance, Harden put together a whopping 52-PRA performance. Of Harden’s 20 assists, he assisted Embiid 11 of them, and the 76ers will pick-and-roll on those two tonight.<\/p>\n
In a captureable matchup where the PRA line is below his average, playing Harden and pushing this line is my favorite pick of the night. I’m predicting a 10-time All-Star with his 41 PRA, and this bet he’ll play up to 38.5 PRA or higher.<\/p>\n
