It was the first lead of the game and never trailed again.<br \/>\n&#8211; UMBC has won 14 of their last 15 games against Maine.<br \/>\n&#8211; Retrievers shot a season-high 55.1% (55.1%).<br \/>\n&#8211; UMBC made a season-high 25 of 32 free throws.<br \/>\n&#8211; The Retrievers outscored the Mains by 36-24 in paint and the Visitors by 35-24.<br \/>\n&#8211; UMBC&#8217;s bench outperformed the main bench by a margin of 32 to 13.<\/p>\n<p><strong>About Hartford<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&#8211; The Hawks are in their first season as Division I Independents and will move to DIII by September 1, 2025.<br \/>\n&#8211; Hartford are on an eight-game losing streak, going 0-7 so far.<br \/>\n&#8211; Briggs-McLain (16.1 average score) and Curtis Henderson average double digits (10.0 average score).  -McLain has scored more than his 20 points on five different occasions, including his season-high 24 points against Sacred Heart.<br \/>\n&#8211; Michael Dunn (9.2 ppg.) has five triples in his last two games.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Series history<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&#8211; UMBC lead 23-20<br \/>\n&#8211; The Retrievers have won seven of their last eight meetings, including an 80-60 home victory in the US East semifinals last season. <dfn>Yo Oben Mensah<\/dfn> (UMBC) and Jared Kimbrough (Hartford) are the only returners to start in that contest.<br \/>\n&#8211; Hartford was the last to win the 2020-21 season with a 70-63 victory over Baltimore.  &#8211;The Retrievers have won four straight games since that defeat.<\/p>\n<p><strong>road warriors<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&#8211; UMBC has won four of its last five road contests after beating Bryant last Sunday. He is also 11-0 when they beat their opponents.<br \/>\n&#8211; Retrievers are 7-0 when holding an opponent with less than 70 points.<br \/>\n&#8211; <dfn>Travon Fagan<\/dfn> is averaging 14.3 points, 7.0 rebounds and a shooting percentage of 68% (21\/31).<br \/>\n&#8211; UMBC have combined 40\/46 (87%) from the foul line in the final four minutes this season.<br \/>\n&#8211; <dfn>Matteo Picarelli<\/dfn> 16\/17 (94%) from the line of AE play.<br \/>\n&#8211; <dfn>Craig Bourdion II<\/dfn> We won 7-8 from the foul line in Saturday&#8217;s main game.
