I have already planned your weekend. TGIF?

watch guide

NFL Playoff Day, Ranked

you are a busy person we all. He probably won’t be able to spend three days in front of the TV unless he pays to watch the game. Plan your weekend:

1. Make plans for Saturday.
In Pulse’s eyes, Seahawks-Niners and Chargers-Jaguars are the best games of the round. Seattle is tough out for his 13-4 Niners and is in very good shape going into the game, and Kyle Shanahan’s team can’t claim that. LA and Jacksonville have the chance to be really stupid in the best possible way.

Pulse pick: Seahawks and Jaguars. A city in turmoil, baby.

2. Plan your errands on Sunday.
3 explosions are possible. Miami without Tua Tagovailoa will face Buffalo, the Giants will limp against the enthralled Vikings, and Lamar Jackson confirmed he can’t face the Bengals. It will, but don’t bet on it.

Pulse pick: Bill, Viking, Bengal. Snooze.

3. Strap on Monday night.
Sorry Cowboys and Bucks fans, but everything about this game makes me moan. The highly talented Cowboys love to step on the rake, but the Bucks – even with Tom Brady under center – have been the worst in recent memory thanks to the NFC South, who has been corrupt this year. He is one of the playoffs on his team. You’ll probably get a bad game and an elaborate story that goes with it.

Pulse pick: Cowboys 12, Bucks 10.

swivel back

Kentucky’s Bad Year

Remember the Wildcats’ terrible loss last week? Perhaps you’ll be surprised to learn that college basketball’s most enthusiastic fanbase is raving about its terrible year so far.

Wildcats guru Kyle Tucker expressed his outrage in this week’s mailbag. This is worth reading to see just how bad things really are in Lexington. Some points I would like to emphasize:

John Calipari may really be out. Staffing changes have resulted in inadequate human resource development. Kentucky could miss his NCAA Tournament for the second time in three years and this could amount to a death sentence for a British coaching tenure. His retirement may come via another job (Texas, anyone?), but make no mistake, a breakup is very likely.

who can replace him? In a place like Kentucky, it’s fair game for everyone. Scott Drew, Bruce Pearl, Eric Musselman, and Nate Oates have been mentioned as possible candidates. But it’s early.

Naturally, Calipari’s 2023 new graduate recruitment class is currently ranked first. Is status quo enough? Let’s see.

briefs

NFL picks neutral site for AFC title
The NFL announced yesterday that if the Chiefs and Bills face off, the AFC Championship will be held at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta. Sources told The Athletic that Las Vegas and New Orleans were also being considered for a unique potential outbreak resulting from last week’s cancellation of the Bengals Bills.

Leonard works out with Lakers
It’s been two years since we’ve seen Myers-Leonard play in the NBA, but if today’s workout can impress Lakers officials, he could fill a coveted spot in the middle of Los Angeles. can do. Leonard was released in March 2021 after saying anti-Semitic slurs during a livestream, but has since apologized and immersed himself in the Jewish community. Both Leonard and DeMarcus Cousins work today. I plan to go out.

1st place high school student
Angel City FC selected 18-year-old Alyssa Thompson with the #1 pick in yesterday’s NWSL Draft. Thompson is something of a mystery. She has already played for the US Women’s National Team and has played for her U-19 men’s team in MLS Next. ACFC head coach Freya Combe called Thompson “the future of Angel City.”

public relations

Harbaugh probably definitely wants to stay

In the second straight offseason, Michigan fans must be feeling like their parents are divorcing.

Head coach Jim Harbaugh certainly seems to want an NFL jobHe pursued a Vikings vacancy last year (interviewed on National Sign Day) and reportedly expressed interest in multiple NFL teams this offseason.

Michigan loves Harbou, the former player who led the Wolverines to the playoffs for the second straight time and, more importantly, defeated Ohio State for the second year in a row. Things couldn’t be better.

So it was hilariously hilarious to see Harbaugh and Michigan publicly issue each other sweet nothing burgers. For example, it would be like trying to tell a child that their parents still love each other.

Without prompting, Michigan President Santa Ono tweeted yesterday The school hopes to “see Jim Harbaugh stay on as football head coach.”

Harbour, From team twitter account, he said he “completely supports” Ono’s message. Woof. Anyone who’s been in a serious relationship knows what nothing means if Harbaugh finds an exit.

Dear Michigan fans, please cherish the good times so far. And if your dad comes back and acts like nothing happened (perhaps after getting a new contract), be happy about that too.

pulse pick

・How do you guard a 7-foot-4-inch, 285-pound monster?
