Defensively they’re doing everything they can, but offensively they’re doing too much.

But that’s the deal. The Ravens can’t keep up if this is like a shootout, so they scored his downs on the third on both sides of the ball, found pushes in the running game, Joe reached his burrow, and the whole game. You have to generate consistent pressure. Required.

Some of that was troubled by last week’s 27-16 loss to close out the regular season, but the ground game at least worked well enough to keep it interesting. Run defense continues to be great, pass defense holds up well, turnovers…

that was the problem. can be fixed.

The Ravens couldn’t control the time, but Kenyan Drake ran fine and Anthony Brown threw for 286 yards. Now the starters are back.

Lamar is gone, but JK Dobbins, Mark Andrews and a number of players who sat last week are back. Most importantly, Tyler Huntley is back under center.

Brown did everything he could, but his four turnovers were killer. Huntley isn’t airtight, but he has distributed three interceptions in five appearances and should be better at keeping things moving.

story continues

but …

– Why the Cincinnati Bengals will win
– Ravens vs Bengals predictions, what will happen

Next: Why the Cincinnati Bengals have an AFC wildcard

Why the Cincinnati Bengals Win the AFC Wild Card

Nor is Cincinnati completely boring.

The main players played, but it was the first game after the nightmare against Buffalo. Baltimore wasn’t playing everyone, and Cincinnati didn’t look or play like his normal self.

Joe Burrow was fine and the offense didn’t have too many problems scoring or cleaning up, but the timing just wasn’t right. He wasn’t connecting to the receiver as usual. He hit only 59% of his passes. It’s his third worst day in a year, but the rust should be gone by now.

Expect the sharpness to return to what it was before Monday night’s cancellation.

All Barrow has to do is his normal self. Run defense should take care of the rest.

Lost to all of the offensive technical brilliance is the best run defense in the NFL for most of the season. Hold out and win the ground battle in Baltimore. There was a problem.

The Bengals are 10-2 with less than 110 rushing yards. Baltimore is trying to get him over 110 rushing yards and that’s what’s really going on, but the Bengals should be fine as long as they don’t control the game and ground clock.

Cincinnati may not be a tough team, but they are great on third down. Also, the passing game can crank up and hit a home run. Baltimore cannot attack. Get up early and Huntley and Raven’s offense will be in trouble.

– Ravens vs Bengals predictions, what will happen

Next: Baltimore Ravens vs Cincinnati Bengals Who will win the AFC wildcard?

Baltimore Ravens vs Cincinnati Bengals AFC Wildcard

Baltimore isn’t going away quietly.

Last week’s game was weird. Baltimore didn’t have a top player and he didn’t have an A-game, but that’s what it looked like in the first half. Cincinnati played poorly, but went up 24-7 and cruised from there.

Now the Bengals unleash their attack.

Baltimore may be resting a bit in key places and will pay much more attention to the ball than they did last week, but it just won’t be enough. Boom – that’s when the big strike comes.

Time and time again, Baltimore keeps moving its boulders up the mountain, only to roll down as soon as one burrow is completed.

The game is going to be much tougher than the final score imagining, but the Bengals will survive. Baltimore does not.

Baltimore Ravens vs Cincinnati Bengals AFC Wildcard Prediction, Lines

CFN Predictions: Cincinnati 23, Baltimore 16
Line: Cincinnati -8.5, o/u: 40.5
ATS Reliability out of 5: 3
Baltimore Ravens vs Cincinnati Bengals Must See Rating: 3.5

NFL Experts Pick Playoff Wildcards
Ranking All Bowls | Bowl Grades for All Teams

The story was originally published in College Football News

[ad_2]

Source link

[ad_1] Baltimore Ravens vs Cincinnati Bengals NFL Playoff Wildcard Predictions, Game Preview, Odds, How To Watch, Sunday, January 15 Baltimore Ravens vs Cincinnati Bengals NFL

"_jetpack_memberships_contains_paywalled_content":false
_jetpack_memberships_contains_paid_content":false
[5

post-7030","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-example-3","two-columns
["GET
