Clutch Bucket gave Hadley the only points of the night. Junior Hunter Hansen scored his game-high 22 points, leading the way to Fremont. <\/p>\n<p>With the win, Fremont improved to 2\u20130 and started play in Region 1, giving the Lancers their first Legion loss. <\/p>\n<p>Fremont manager Corey Melanie said, &#8220;This team is looking for a way to win the ball game in the late game.&#8221;<\/p>\n<h3>Brighton 49, Highland 48<\/h3>\n<p>Brighton were four ahead heading into the fourth quarter and outscored Highland 17-12 in the final minutes to a narrow 49-48 win on Tuesday night. The win gave the Bengals a valuable victory in a competitive Region 6 field. <\/p>\n<p>Nash Matheson and Bradley Easton scored 18 and 11 points respectively to lead the way to Brighton. Highland&#8217;s Nathan Johnsen scored his 20 points for a game-high. <\/p>\n<p>The result moved Brighton to 9-4 overall, while Highlands fell to 7-6 that year.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cTonight was a defensive battle and both teams defended at a high level. Credit to the players who gave it to us,&#8221; Brighton coach Tim Gardner said.<\/p>\n<h3>Enterprise 75, South Sevier 67<\/h3>\n<p>Enterprise and South Sevier &#8211; two of the top teams in the 2A classification &#8211; kicked off their regional campaign on Tuesday night by going head-to-head. They needed extra time, but the Wolves rallied in the final minutes of the game to secure a potentially key 75-67 victory in the second half of the season. <\/p>\n<p>The Enterprise outscored the Rams 14-6 in overtime.  Sophomore center Traison Whitman led the way to the Wolves with a game and season-high 23 points. Austin Thomas also scored his 18 points for the Enterprise. <\/p>\n<p>Enterprise coach Bud Randall said:  \u201cI was able to make some clutch shots in overtime and was able to get the win.\u201d<\/p>\n<h3>Pleasant Grove 54, Riverton 52<\/h3>\n<p>After trading the lead back and forth three quarters, Pleasant Grove (7-6) took the lead in the closing stages to give Riverton a big win as they entered the game with a 9-3 record.<\/p>\n<p>The Vikings were able to limit the Silverwolves to just 7 points in the 4th quarter with a narrow 54-52 win. After the first quarter, Pleasant his glove seemed to be on track as he led 18-8 early on. However, Riverton swooped in to tie the game at half-time and take a 3-point lead in the final quarter of play.<\/p>\n<p>Austin Simon hit a go-ahead 3-pointer with less than a minute remaining to give the Vikings the point they needed to secure the win. The buzzer wasn&#8217;t enough. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt was good to play 32 minutes tonight against a very good team, especially last Friday when they played very badly. It&#8217;s been great,&#8221; said Pleasant Grove coach Randy McAllister.<\/p>\n<h3>Cedar Valley 80, Salem Hills 73<\/h3>\n<p>After hitting early on a good start from Salem Hills, the Cedar Valley Aviators (who trailed by nine points after the first quarter) took advantage of a 25-13 scoring advantage in the fourth period to take advantage of the second half. He pulled away and took his ninth victory. Tuesday night with a score of 80-73 for the season. <\/p>\n<p>The aviator trio of Jax Allen (29 points), Ty Christensen (24 points) and Cole Roberts (21 points) scored 74 of Cedar Valley&#8217;s 80 points. The win will give Cedar Valley momentum as the team opens its regional play in Uintah on Friday. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cAt halftime, I knew I had to slow down their shooters and give them a chance to take the lead,\u201d said Cedar Valley coach Blake Pugmire.
