Places were sold out on Friday night. &#8220;It wasn&#8217;t a great game for either team, but it would be ideal if we could win an ugly game away and learn from the mistakes we made along the way.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;There&#8217;s a lot to take from this movie. If we keep improving and we can win, that&#8217;s all.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Windsor have averaged 68 points in their games through Friday and had scored 90 points in their previous game against Weathersfield.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cCollectively, defensively, the Windsor had a great offensive punch.  &#8220;We felt good about it. Both sides wanted to score more points, so it was a defensive battle on both ends.<\/p>\n<p>Both East Catholic and Windsor will head to Springfield next week to take on various teams in the HoopHall Classic.<\/p>\n<h3>player of the week<\/h3>\n<p><b>Michael Coggins, Suffield: <\/b>Coggins scored 40 points in Friday&#8217;s 64-51 win over Bolton, including a 10-for-10 performance from the fourth-quarter free-throw line.<\/p>\n<p><b>Badara Diakite, North West Catholic: <\/b>The Diakites scored 22 points in a 74-53 win over Conard on Tuesday.<\/p>\n<p><b>Riley Fox, Conard: <\/b>The Foxes scored 34 points in Tuesday&#8217;s 74-53 loss to the Northwest Catholics and 33 in Thursday&#8217;s 54-50 come-from-behind win over Middletown.<\/p>\n<p><b>Dam&#8217;nic Gittens, Cheney Tech: <\/b>Gitens scored 32 points in Tuesday&#8217;s 77-64 win over Goodwin Tech.<\/p>\n<p><b>Alex Herron, Enfield:<\/b> Herron posted a double-double (18 points and 10 rebounds) in a 69-54 victory over East Hartford on Tuesday.<\/p>\n<p><button class=\"link caas-button collapse-button\" aria-label=\"\" title=\"\" data-ylk=\"elm:readmore;slk:Story continues\">story continues<\/button><\/p>\n<p><b>James Jones, East Catholic: <\/b>Jones scored 18 points in a 49-42 win over Windsor on Friday.<\/p>\n<p><b>Cody Murphy, Ellington: <\/b>Murphy hit 10 free throws and scored 22 points in Ellington&#8217;s 62-48 win over Rockville on Wednesday.<\/p>\n<p><b>Conor O&#8217;Leary, Glastonbury: <\/b>O&#8217;Leary scored 25 points, including 10 free throws, in a 57-45 victory over Maloney Friday.<\/p>\n<p><b>Anthony Parker, Xavier: <\/b>Parker scored 32 points in Xavier&#8217;s 65-52 win over Cheshire on Tuesday and 22 points in their 61-42 win over Amity Friday.<\/p>\n<p><b>Chris Wilson, Weaver: <\/b>Wilson had a double-double (15 points, 10 rebounds) and five blocks in a 56-37 win over Classic Wednesday.<\/p>\n<h3>story of the week<\/h3>\n<p>&#8211; Sheehan won the first game 56-46 over Cheshire as Anthony MarcAnthony scored 11 of 20 points in the fourth quarter.  It was the first win for first-year manager John Wodach.<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; Jr. Riley Fox scored 14 of 33 points in the 4th quarter to push Conard into Middletown on Thursday, capping Conard&#8217;s comeback after the Red Wolves trailed by 9 points in the 3rd quarter . Conard was without three starters due to injuries.<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; Ellington extended that record to 7-0 and remained top of the NCCC standings as the Knights beat Rockville 62-48 and Granby 60-48 last week.<\/p>\n<h3>Featured games<\/h3>\n<p><b>Xavier (6-1) vs. Wilbur Cross (4-2), Tuesday, 7pm: <\/b>Two of SCC&#8217;s top teams come together. Wilbur his crosses lost to Windsor and Northwest Catholic, while Xavier, who was on a four-game winning streak, lost to Notre Dame-West Haven.<\/p>\n<p><b>Windsor (7-1) vs. Central (Springfield, MA) (5-1) Springfield College, Thursday, 7:30 p.m.:<\/b> Another Hoophole classic game. Springfield&#8217;s only loss was to Brookline (Massachusetts) behind him by two points. Windsor only lost to the Eastern Catholics.<\/p>\n<p><b>Northwest Catholic (8-0) vs. Newton North, Massachusetts (6-1) Springfield College, Thursday, 3pm: <\/b>Northwest Catholic went undefeated in the Hoophall Classic against Newton North.<\/p>\n<p><b>Eastern Catholic v.
