Anthony Pettis believes he has the necessary skill set to beat Jake Paul in a boxing match.<\/p>\n

Pettis may have a chance to face Jake Paul following the announcement that he recently became a YouTube sensation signed a contract<\/a> Compete under the banner of the Professional Fighters League.<\/p>\n

Paul is currently undefeated as a boxer with a professional record of 6-0. The YouTube star’s most recent bout saw him defeat former UFC Middleweight Champion Anderson Silva in October 2022.<\/p>\n

Anthony Pettis now appears to be making the transition to MMA, clearly<\/a> In an interview with InsideFighting, if given the chance to box Jake Paul, he’s very confident he’ll have his hand raised.<\/p>\n

“I’ve been boxing with professional boxers since I was champion in 2015, so I’ve actually been spared against the pros. I’m not talking bad, but Ben Guys like Askren and Tyrone Woodley come from wrestling backgrounds whose transition to boxing was entirely new. I don’t know the science to do they had never been there and felt that fire of how to stick to the science of boxing.<\/em><\/p>\n

Pettis continued to praise the skill set Jake Paul had acquired since beginning his journey into boxing, but was convinced he could and would knock him out if the two met. I’m here.<\/p>\n

“Obviously he’s going for the knockout, but Jake Paul’s boxing skills are great. I think he’s tapping into MMA territory, but he’s got someone to box with. Has made a name for himself there and definitely has some boxing skills, but I’m pretty sure I’ve had far more years of sparring and boxing with real pros than he does.<\/em><\/p>\n

For now, following his new deal with the PFL, Paul’s focus appears to have shifted to mixed martial arts, and whether it’s boxing or MMA, Anthony Pettis faces the PFL’s latest signing. has expressed a very clear interest in doing so. <\/p>\n
