The Lady Indians faced Class B Beatrice in the Showcase. Broken Bow fought hard against the top 10 Orange.  Broken Bow&#8217;s Janae Marten hit her 3 to start the game, but she didn&#8217;t trail again as Beatrice scored her next 12 points to hold on to the 43-31 win. Broken Bow kept the game close and she closed the gap to 34-30 in the fourth quarter, but Beatriz closed the game with her 9-1 run to secure the win. Broken Bow was led by Gabby Staples, who scored her 10 points, a team-high, while Janae her Marten scored her 9 points with the Lady Her Indians, who are 5-4 this season.<\/p>\n<p>The Broken Bow men&#8217;s basketball team played Saturday night at Kearney High School against Bridgeport. Broken Bow took his second win of the season with his 51-44. The Indians led by 9 at the half and extended their lead to 14 entering the fourth quarter. Bridgeport reduced their lead to six in the final quarter, but his third of the game, Ryan Jackson&#8217;s three, brought Broken Bow back to nine, helping the Indians regain control and secure the win. I was.  Broken Bow scored his seven players, led by Jackson, who had a team-best 13 of him.
