A doctor at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center said Hamlin made a “significant improvement” on Thursday.<\/p>\n

“He’s starting to wake up, and his neurological condition and function appear to be intact,” said Dr. Timothy Prydz of the University of California School of Medicine at a video press conference.<\/p>\n

Hamlin, who had been sedated after being resuscitated on the field Monday, began communicating with doctors in writing Wednesday. <\/p>\n

The 24-year-old defensive back even asked the doctor who won Monday’s game, which was canceled Thursday.<\/p>\n
