Rafael Devers isn&#8217;t going anywhere anytime soon.<\/p>\n<p>The star&#8217;s third baseman agreed to sign an 11-year, $331 million contract extension with the Red Sox on Wednesday, according to multiple reports.Former MLB player Carlos Baerga shared the news on his Instagram account. was first reported.<\/p>\n<p>ESPN&#8217;s <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" data-timestamp=\"1672870725\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/JeffPassan\/status\/1610761844624396296\" target=\"_blank\">Added by Jeff Passan<\/a> The deal is not complete as the physical process has not started, but Devers is expected to remain in Boston. Jon Heyman of The New York Post reports Devers <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" data-timestamp=\"1672870926\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/JonHeyman\/status\/1610762575775469583\" target=\"_blank\">No prohibition clause<\/a> as part of his contract.<\/p>\n<h3>Tomase: Red Sox&#8217;s 2023 lineup predictions fall short<\/h3>\n<p>Devers&#8217; future with the Red Sox was in doubt after hometown superstar Xander Bogaerts left free agency.
