Based on how the offseason has progressed so far and the prospect that the Brewers are poised for an opportunity, we should see a wave of prospects in his debut not seen in Milwaukee.  Since 2018.<\/p>\n<p class=\"tagStyle_pqlu7h-o_O-style_1tcxgp3-o_O-style_19x1x3p-o_O-style_48hmcm\" data-mm-id=\"_bxz43y6q3\">In 2018, the Brewers were attracting top 10 prospects every other week.<\/p>\n<p class=\"tagStyle_pqlu7h-o_O-style_1tcxgp3-o_O-style_19x1x3p-o_O-style_48hmcm\" data-mm-id=\"_7erlkmzqj\">MLB debuts are always special. Garrett Mitchell said he was called up in 2022 and was able to create some magical moments in his five-week stint ending the regular season. He is the first of many.  Who can join him in 2023?<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"tagStyle_1jttr2w-o_O-style_1tcxgp3-o_O-style_19x1x3p-o_O-style_48hmcm\" data-mm-id=\"_3k8sjwgsv\">Five Brewers prospects virtually guaranteed to make their MLB debut with the Brewers in 2023.<\/h3>\n<aside class=\"style_1bm1w0l\" data-mm-id=\"_phv8l5lp9\"\/>\n<p class=\"tagStyle_pqlu7h-o_O-style_1tcxgp3-o_O-style_19x1x3p-o_O-style_48hmcm\" data-mm-id=\"_lwojgamkc\">This debut will likely be seen very early in 2023, perhaps even on opening day. He&#8217;s worked his way steadily through the minor league system without a true breakout season and no down season. He is consistently productive and getting better along the way.<\/p>\n<p class=\"tagStyle_pqlu7h-o_O-style_1tcxgp3-o_O-style_19x1x3p-o_O-style_48hmcm\" data-mm-id=\"_0mfw7qta3\">Turang has a solid batting average midway through, but has little power but plenty of speed on base. But he made a strong step forward in his 2022, spending his year in Triple-A Nashville, scoring a .286\/.360\/. recorded a home run and a career-high 34 stolen bases.<\/p>\n<p class=\"tagStyle_pqlu7h-o_O-style_1tcxgp3-o_O-style_19x1x3p-o_O-style_48hmcm\" data-mm-id=\"_i7v2imba3\">There&#8217;s very little left for him to prove with his triple-A. He has proven to be a quality defender at shortstop and has shown versatility in other positions as well. <\/p>\n<p class=\"tagStyle_pqlu7h-o_O-style_1tcxgp3-o_O-style_19x1x3p-o_O-style_48hmcm\" data-mm-id=\"_x2pfry0kk\">The Brewers traded Kolten Wong this offseason, giving Turan the job as second baseman. He&#8217;s a shortstop in the trade, but with Willie Adams going nowhere, Turang&#8217;s path to playing time will be at second base. He was able to get that his first job right out of the camp.<\/p>\n<p class=\"tagStyle_pqlu7h-o_O-style_1tcxgp3-o_O-style_19x1x3p-o_O-style_48hmcm\" data-mm-id=\"_d2xwtzcdr\">Turang was added to the 40-man roster in November, protecting him from the Rule 5 draft.
