The 9-play drive ended with running back Mohamed Ibrahim powering in a 4-yard touchdown. Ibrahim&#8217;s touchdown run was his 20th of the season and set a new Minnesota single-season record. Early in the game, he also set a new Minnesota single-season record in rushing yards.<\/p>\n<p displaynav=\"true\" class=\"mg-t-b-20 ff-h fs-16 lh-1pt88 mg-t-b-20 article-content\" data-v-1f556a34=\"\"><strong>Atan Kaliakmanis<\/strong><strong>    injured<\/strong><\/p>\n<p displaynav=\"true\" class=\"mg-t-b-20 ff-h fs-16 lh-1pt88 mg-t-b-20 article-content\" data-v-1f556a34=\"\">The Gophers, starting quarterback, were helped off the field midway through the second quarter. Five plays later, Morgan hit wide receiver Daniel Jackson for a 21-yard touchdown. Minnesota took his 14-0 lead.<\/p>\n<p displaynav=\"true\" class=\"mg-t-b-20 ff-h fs-16 lh-1pt88 mg-t-b-20 article-content\" data-v-1f556a34=\"\"><strong>Syracuse dominates TD<\/strong><\/p>\n<p displaynav=\"true\" class=\"mg-t-b-20 ff-h fs-16 lh-1pt88 mg-t-b-20 article-content\" data-v-1f556a34=\"\">Orange won the ball with 55 seconds remaining in the first half and no timeouts.<\/p>\n<p displaynav=\"true\" class=\"mg-t-b-20 ff-h fs-16 lh-1pt88 mg-t-b-20 article-content\" data-v-1f556a34=\"\">Garrett Schrader completed four passes totaling 85 yards. Two plays later, Morgan and Jackson connected for a second touchdown connection. This time, Jackson ran through the Syracuse defense for a 25-yard score. Minnesota took his 28-13 lead.<\/p>\n<p displaynav=\"true\" class=\"mg-t-b-20 ff-h fs-16 lh-1pt88 mg-t-b-20 article-content\" data-v-1f556a34=\"\"><strong>What an effort!<\/strong><\/p>\n<p displaynav=\"true\" class=\"mg-t-b-20 ff-h fs-16 lh-1pt88 mg-t-b-20 article-content\" data-v-1f556a34=\"\">A touchdown was needed to bring the deficit back to one score, and Syracuse faced 4 and 8 from the Minnesota 8-yard line. Unable to find an open receiver, Schrader scrambled and ran for a touchdown.
