Jalen Bates added his 15 points, 8 rebounds, 2 steals and 3 blocks, while Jordan Tilmon added his 15 points and he had 4 assists.<\/p>\n<p class=\"gnt_ar_b_p\">Led by Bates&#8217; four offensive rebounds, FAMU crashed the offensive grass and knocked down 13 boards for 13-second chance points.<\/p>\n<p class=\"gnt_ar_b_p\">The FAMU defense held the Alabama State shooters to just 35% off the field. The Rattlers then lost part of that lead, but he still entered halftime with a 34-28 advantage. Mid Oryomi contributed 3 points, 7 rebounds, 3 steals and 3 blocks while Dylan Horton scored 11 points.<\/p>\n<aside aria-label=\"advertisement\" class=\"gnt_m gnt_x gnt_x__lbl gnt_x__al\"\/>\n<p class=\"gnt_ar_b_p\">Led by Stasha Allen&#8217;s four offensive rebounds, FAMU crashed the offensive grass and brought down 17 boards for 11-second chance points.<\/p>\n<p class=\"gnt_ar_b_p\">FAMU did a great job intercepting Alabama&#8217;s shot in the contest, taking six blocks.  Her three rejections of Oriyomi paved the way for the Rattlers individually.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"gnt_ar_b_h2\">how it happened<\/h2>\n<p class=\"gnt_ar_b_p\">After falling behind 15-8, FAMU went on a 10-0 run with 5:03 left in the first quarter, culminating in an Oryomi three-pointer to take an 18-15 lead. The Rattlers then maintained that lead going into his break in the quarter with a 22-19 advantage.  FAMU resorted to three-point shooting during this period, knocking down three shots to account for 9 of their 22 points.<\/p>\n<p class=\"gnt_ar_b_p\">After keeping their first quarter lead intact, FAMU started an 8-0 run at the 5:18 mark of the second period, highlighted by Horton&#8217;s bucket, increasing their lead to 37-27.  The Rattlers held that lead for the remainder of the period and heading into halftime he enjoyed a 40-30 advantage.  FAMU dominated the paint as he scored 12 of 18 points.<\/p>\n<aside aria-label=\"advertisement\" class=\"gnt_m gnt_x gnt_x__lbl gnt_x__al\"\/>\n<p class=\"gnt_ar_b_p\">FAMU continued to hold on to their half-time lead before a 5-0 run interrupted by Grizzle&#8217;s 3-pointer extended their lead to 56-48 and took third with 3:50. Before the third period ended, Reddy had his Hornets somewhat cut into that lead, but the Rattlers still entered the fourth quarter with his 60-55 advantage.  FAMU played well near the basket, scoring 12 of their 20 points in the paint.<\/p>\n<p class=\"gnt_ar_b_p\">Alabama then erased the FAMU lead in the final quarter of the game with a 77-68 comeback victory.
