British truck legend Mo Farrar <\/strong>It is likely that he will retire this year.<\/p>\n According to multiple British media reports, Farah, 39, said: “I’m not going to the Olympics. I think 2023 will probably be my last year.”<\/p>\n Farah, who won gold medals in the 5000m and 10,000m at the 2012 and 2016 Olympics, was announced Tuesday as part of the field for the London Marathon on April 23.<\/p>\n Farah reportedly said in May last year that he believed his track career was over, but not on the road.<\/p>\n London may not be his last marathon. Farrar also said he “won’t turn it down” if he were selected to represent England again later this year, according to reports on Tuesday.<\/p>\n It’s not clear if Farah was referring to the World Championships in Athletics, including the marathon in Budapest in August.<\/p>\n Last year, Britain’s fastest men’s marathoner ran in 2:10:46, ranking outside the world’s top 300.
