The NFL salary cap continues to skyrocket season after season, and 2023 is no exception. The NFL informed teams on Monday that the 2023 salary cap will be raised to a record $224.8 million per club.<\/p>\n
This figure is more than $16 million higher than the 2022 salary cap of $208.2 million. Here are the cap changes since 2019:<\/p>\n

2021 – $182.5 million (COVID-adjusted)

According to Over the Cap, the 49ers’ cap space is projected at $16.6 million, making it the 10th-largest in the NFL.<\/p>\n
