Each team was also informed of the franchise tag salary for each position. <\/p>\n<h3 id=\"quarterback-32-416-000\">Quarterback = $32,416,000<\/h3>\n<h3 id=\"running-back-10-091-000\">Running Back = $10,091,000<\/h3>\n<h3 id=\"wide-receiver-19-743-000\">Wide Receiver = $19,743,000<\/h3>\n<h3 id=\"tight-end-11-345-000\">Tight End = $11,345,000<\/h3>\n<h3 id=\"o-line-18-244-000\">O-line = $18,244,000<\/h3>\n<h3 id=\"defensive-end-19-727-000\">Defensive End = $19,727,000<\/h3>\n<h3 id=\"defensive-tackle-18-937-000\">Defensive Tackle = $18,937,000<\/h3>\n<h3 id=\"linebacker-20-926-000\">Linebacker = $20,926,000<\/h3>\n<h3 id=\"cornerback-18-140-000\">Cornerback = $18,140,000<\/h3>\n<h3 id=\"safety-14-460-000\">Safety = $14,460,000<\/h3>\n<h3 id=\"kicker-punter-5-393-000\">Kicker\/Punter = $5,393,000<\/h3>\n<p>Teams can apply the franchise tag from February 21st. The deadline for applying the tag is March 7th.  <\/p>\n<aside class=\"m-in-content-ad-row l-inline mm-in-content-ad-row--in-content not-size-a not-size-b not-size-c\" data-ad-group=\"in_content-0\"\/>\n<aside class=\"m-in-content-ad-row l-inline mm-in-content-ad-row--in-content not-size-a not-size-b not-size-d\" data-ad-group=\"in_content-0\"\/>\n<aside class=\"m-in-content-ad-row l-inline mm-in-content-ad-row--in-content not-size-a not-size-c not-size-d\" data-ad-group=\"in_content-0\"\/>\n<aside class=\"m-in-content-ad-row l-inline not-size-b not-size-c not-size-d\"\/>\n<p>It is highly unlikely that the New Orleans Saints will use the franchise tag for pending free agency. They have used it only three times in franchise history. QB Drew Brees (2012), TE Played for Jimmy Graham (2014) and most recently for S Marcus Williams in 2021.<\/p>\n<p>New Orleans notable unrestricted free agents are LB Kaden Elliss, DE Marcus Davenport, DT David Onyemata, DT Shy Tuttle, DE Tanoh Kpassagnon, DT Kentavius \u200b\u200bStreet, QB Andy Dalton, defensive backs Bradley Roby and PJ Williams. <\/p>\n<aside class=\"m-in-content-ad-row l-inline mm-in-content-ad-row--in-content not-size-a not-size-b not-size-c\" data-ad-group=\"in_content-1\"\/>\n<aside class=\"m-in-content-ad-row l-inline mm-in-content-ad-row--in-content not-size-a not-size-b not-size-d\" data-ad-group=\"in_content-1\"\/>\n<aside class=\"m-in-content-ad-row l-inline mm-in-content-ad-row--in-content not-size-a not-size-c not-size-d\" data-ad-group=\"in_content-1\"\/>\n<aside class=\"m-in-content-ad-row l-inline mm-in-content-ad-row--in-content not-size-b not-size-c not-size-d\" data-ad-group=\"in_content-0\"\/>\n<p>Ellis should be a top priority for the Saints to re-sign, with Spotrac.com estimating his next deal at around $5.1 million per season. Spotrac.com estimates his deal could be worth about $23.2 million annually.
