San Antonio cannot re-sign him as they need to prioritize developing their young wing,\u201d wrote The Bleacher Report. I&#8217;m here.<\/p>\n<p>The veteran wing (29) only serves as an obstacle in the development of San Antonio&#8217;s young core, which includes players like Devin Vassell (22), Keldon Johnson (23) and Romeo Langford (23). <\/p>\n<aside class=\"m-in-content-ad-row l-inline mm-in-content-ad-row--in-content not-size-a not-size-b not-size-c\" data-ad-group=\"in_content-1\"\/>\n<aside class=\"m-in-content-ad-row l-inline mm-in-content-ad-row--in-content not-size-a not-size-b not-size-d\" data-ad-group=\"in_content-1\"\/>\n<aside class=\"m-in-content-ad-row l-inline mm-in-content-ad-row--in-content not-size-a not-size-c not-size-d\" data-ad-group=\"in_content-1\"\/>\n<aside class=\"m-in-content-ad-row l-inline mm-in-content-ad-row--in-content not-size-b not-size-c not-size-d\" data-ad-group=\"in_content-1\"\/>\n<p>This season, Richardson averaged 11.2 points, 3.2 assists and 2.7 rebounds in about 23 minutes per game.  Since being traded to the Spurs in 2022, Richardson has shot 90% from the free-throw line and 39% from 3-point range, topping NBA league averages this season. <\/p>\n<p>Despite being a solid defender and a good shooter on the court, the veteran role player isn&#8217;t going to bring San Antonio much return in trade. must be<\/p>\n<aside class=\"m-in-content-ad-row l-inline mm-in-content-ad-row--in-content not-size-a not-size-b not-size-c\" data-ad-group=\"in_content-2\"\/>\n<aside class=\"m-in-content-ad-row l-inline mm-in-content-ad-row--in-content not-size-a not-size-b not-size-d\" data-ad-group=\"in_content-2\"\/>\n<aside class=\"m-in-content-ad-row l-inline mm-in-content-ad-row--in-content not-size-a not-size-c not-size-d\" data-ad-group=\"in_content-2\"\/>\n<aside class=\"m-in-content-ad-row l-inline mm-in-content-ad-row--in-content not-size-b not-size-c not-size-d\" data-ad-group=\"in_content-2\"\/>\n<p>Teams looking to contend for the championship this season will find Richardson&#8217;s shooting prowess appealing and may be able to pull the trigger on the deal before the Feb. 9 trade deadline.<\/p>\n<p>A potential suitor for Richardson&#8217;s skill set is the Dallas Mavericks.
