Bianca Smith<\/b>Hired by the Red Sox as a minor league coach in December 2020, left the organization.<\/span><\/p>\n With his contract expiring after the 2022 season, Smith turned down a multi-year offer to continue coaching with the system, opting instead to seek new opportunities to further his career.<\/span><\/p>\n “[The offer] I was still in a coaching position. It wasn’t where I wanted it to be,” Smith said. \u201cI decided it would be better for me to try to find something else. I loved my time there.
