Calling these lineup rankings “too early” may be true, but maybe not. increase. We still have a few free agents and some trades going on, but we’re getting to a point where we have a pretty good idea of \u200b\u200bwhat each team’s offense will look like next season.<\/p>\n

Since last year’s preseason predictions, it’s safe to say that these rankings have seen a fair amount of regrouping, both at the top and bottom of the leaderboard. Same leaderboard every year.<\/p>\n

Certain ranking slots change frequently, but wider lens changes are a bit slower to focus on. These are the most interesting changes when a good team suddenly looks better or seems to have slipped into the lower divisions of the Majors.<\/p>\n

That dynamic is in full play in these rankings, featuring new top lineups and setting high expectations for a franchise that has never won a World Series. There are also some longstanding elite crimes. Of course, it may be too early to draw these conclusions.<\/p>\n
