Sergey says he hasn&#8217;t made enough progress in yards since fighting him four years ago because he hasn&#8217;t fought someone talented enough to prepare for Beterbiev (18-0, 18 KOs). Therefore, Yard, in Kovalev&#8217;s view, has not gained the necessary experience to give him a fighting chance to beat IBF\/WBC\/WBO champion Beterbiev.<\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s too late to gain experience and prepare for this fight against a quality opponent with yards.<strong> Yards need to wing it<\/strong> and wish the best.<\/p>\n<p>If Yard loses, we recommend talking with your promoter about matching you with a better fighter so you&#8217;re ready to fight for the next world title.<\/p>\n<p>Kovalev believes his yardage has likely improved since fighting him, but he doesn&#8217;t think it&#8217;s improved enough to beat a fighter like Beterbiev.<\/p>\n<p>Again, the dismal middle-of-the-road opposition that Yard has fought for the past four years will eventually hold him back, shunning any chance of angering Beterbiev.<\/p>\n<p>Sergei Kovalev told RingIQ TV about Artur Beterbiev, &#8220;He&#8217;s very naturally strong, he&#8217;s physically strong. And now he&#8217;s got a lot of experience from the amateurs, having fought more than 10 times professionally. I&#8217;m KOing you,&#8221; he said.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;<em><strong>Anthony Yard not ready to fight Artur Beterbiev<\/strong><\/em>    Because he wasn&#8217;t tested like a real match,&#8221; Kovalev continued.  \u201cWhen he fought me, I lost a lot of pounds for 34 pounds in the light heavyweight division, so I ran out of energy. 2019 was the most difficult year of my boxing career.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;The first match was scheduled for June, but was rescheduled for August. That was three and a half years ago, and he [Yarde] For this fight, I have gained more experience and have been more physically conditioned.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I think it&#8217;s going to be an interesting fight, but in my opinion, <em><strong>Arthur smash smash him<\/strong><\/em>I was in trouble when I fought Anthony Yard.  In the 7th and 8th rounds, I was in trouble because I was thin and exhausted. I lost over 15 pounds because of this fight. He couldn&#8217;t stop me.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI think Artur finishes him off in the middle of the fight. Boxing. I would be interested to see this too. With a very big Olympic and World Championship background, he has a lot of experience and is mentally older than Anthony Yard.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;In six rounds at the latest,&#8221; Kovalev predicted Beterbiev would stop Yard in six rounds.  &#8220;I think so, 5, 6. They&#8217;re both big, strong and smart. So it&#8217;s an interesting fight, but I think so.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt all depends on the setup.
