{"id":11307,"date":"2023-01-27T01:36:13","date_gmt":"2023-01-27T01:36:13","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/atswins.ai\/blog\/2023-nba-all-star-game-starter-snubs\/"},"modified":"2023-01-27T01:36:13","modified_gmt":"2023-01-27T01:36:13","slug":"2023-nba-all-star-game-starter-snubs","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/atswins.ai\/blog\/2023-nba-all-star-game-starter-snubs\/","title":{"rendered":"2023 NBA All-Star Game starter snubs"},"content":{"rendered":"<p> [ad_1]<br \/>\n<\/p>\n<div>\n<aside class=\"gnt_em gnt_em__fp gnt_em_vp__tp gnt_em__el\" aria-label=\"Video - Which NBA players could be traded at the trade deadline?\"\/>\n<p class=\"gnt_ar_b_p\">The 2023 NBA All-Star starters were announced Thursday, with LeBron James joining Kareem Abdul-Jabbar for the most All-Star selections with 19.<\/p>\n<p class=\"gnt_ar_b_p\">Expected All-Star starters include James, Brooklyn Nets guard Kevin Durant, Golden State Warriors guard Stephen Curry and Milwaukee Bucks guard Giannis Antetokounmpo.<\/p>\n<p class=\"gnt_ar_b_p\"><strong class=\"gnt_ar_b_al\">2023 NBA All-Star Game Starters:<\/strong>LeBron James is the 19th selection, joined by Kevin Durant and Nikola Jokic.<\/p>\n<p class=\"gnt_ar_b_p\">But, as always, there are players who have performed well so far in the season and just missed out on the All-Star starting lineup. He is the only three to be voted for as a frontcourt starter. It&#8217;s not like someone out of the group is out of place. Embiid happened to be left behind.<\/p>\n<p class=\"gnt_ar_b_p\">The Philadelphia 76ers center has been an All-Star for the past five years. (AP Photo\/Eric Gay)\"\/><\/figure>\n<p class=\"gnt_ar_b_p\">In the guard spot, Kyrie Irving was a fan favorite and scored the starting knot, but Boston&#8217;s Jaylen Brown has had a better season. He averaged 26.9 points and 7.1 rebounds per game.
