Huntington Beach went 3-7-6 overall.<\/p>\n<p><b>Newport Harbor 1, Los Alamitos 1: <\/b>The Sailors lifted their record to 12-4-3 overall after drawing Wednesday in a Sunset Conference crossover match at Los Alamitos High.<\/p>\n<h2 id=\"b-boys-basketball-b\" class=\"subhead\"><b>men&#8217;s basketball<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><b>Fountain Valley 49, Newport Harbor 37: <\/b>JJ Gray had 23 points and 7 rebounds for the Barrons in the Sunset Conference crossover game at Newport Harbor High on Wednesday.<\/p>\n<p>Fountain Valley improved to 17-8 overall. <\/p>\n<p>Adam Garr led Newport Harbor, also 17-8, with 18 points.<\/p>\n<p><b>Marina 66, Laguna Beach 62:<\/b> The Vikings improved to 16-9 after winning Wednesday&#8217;s Sunset Conference crossover game at Laguna Beach High.<\/p>\n<p>The Breakers are currently 7-18.<\/p>\n<p><b>Edison 51, Huntington Beach 45: <\/b>Dane Johnson led the Chargers with 18 points in the Sunset Conference crossover match at Huntington Beach High on Wednesday.<\/p>\n<p>Dylan Hugs added 17 points to Edison (17-8). <\/p>\n<p>Huntington Beach lost 11-13. <\/p>\n<p><b>Segerstrom 53, Ocean View 50: <\/b>Brayden Ackerman led the Seahawks with 14 points, but the hosts Jaguars earned an important victory in Wednesday&#8217;s Golden West League game.<\/p>\n<p>Peyton Guerrero added 13 points to Ocean View (13-12, 3-4) to finish fifth in the league.<\/p>\n<p>Guerrero made a pull-up 3-pointer with 5.2 seconds left to cut the Seahawks&#8217; deficit to 51-50, but the Jaguars ran out the clock with an inbound pass and a layup after extending the floor.<\/p>\n<p>Segerstrom (11-11, 6-1) is in first place with three games remaining.
