What was the best in the 1980s?<\/p>\n<p>Get all AP Finals rankings and use the CFN scoring system.  His first place team in the AP Finals has 25 points, second place team has his 24 points, third place team has 23 points, and so on all the way to the bottom.<\/p>\n<p>Final AP College Basketball rankings are announced at the end of the regular season, not after the NCAA Tournament, so there are some terrible blips, such as UCLA not being a 1960s program. All of these contradictions underpin his 1980s beer.<\/p>\n<p>Remember DePaul&#8217;s back-to-back national champions in 1980 and 1981?<\/p>\n<p>Villanova, the 1885 national champion, did not finish in the AP rankings, and so did Danny (Manning) and the 1988 Miracles Kansas team.<\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s been 10 years since the NCAA Tournament reached a whole other level, and these rankings reflect
