New York Jets then looking for new offensive coordinator Goodbye to Mike Ruffler<\/span> They are reportedly interested in hiring an assistant from one of their rival companies. Per NFL Media<\/a>the Jets requested permission to interview Buffalo Bills quarterback coach Joe Brady for the vacant offensive coordinator position. <\/p>\n

Brady, 33, is wrapping up his first season as quarterback coach for the Bills. He previously served as offensive coordinator for the Carolina Panthers for just under two years. was fired<\/span> in December 2021 after he failed to start offense while the team made multiple quarterback changes. Teddy Bridgewater said he finished his 2020 one-off, but the position completely collapsed in 2021 as Carolina cycled through Sam Darnold, Cam Newton and PJ Walker. <\/p>\n

Brady has more than just being an assistant who worked with Unicorn Josh Allen for a season. The request is said to have been received. Brady’s greatest achievement came in 2019 when he returned to LSU’s passing game when he served as coordinator and wide receiver he coached. <\/p>\n
