Women’s basketball moves to Dartmouth on Monday

Cambridge, Massachusetts – The Harvard Women’s Basketball Team will travel to Hanover, NH, on Monday, January 16, to face the Big Green of Dartmouth. The game will start at 5pm and will be streamed on ESPN+.

• Harvard University Carrie Moore With seven non-conference victories this season, they kicked off their Ivy League campaign with wins over Princeton and Brown. Monday introduces Crimson’s next Ivy opponent in Dartmouth.

• Moore is in the first year since Kathy Delaney Smith retired after 40 years at the helm of the Crimson Program. Moore was named head coach of Harvard Women’s Basketball Kathy Delaney Smith on April 6, 2022, at the University of Michigan where he spent the 2021-22 season as an assistant coach before arriving at Cambridge and taking the Wolverines to his 25th. • Harvard has been strong in stolen bases all season, beating opponents in nearly every game. Against Columbia, Harvard finished the game with 5 steals against Columbia’s 2 blocks and 3 against Columbia’s 2 blocks.

• It will be the 90th time in series history that Harvard will face Ivy League rivals Dartmouth, leading 53-36. Crimson is now on his third straight win at the Big Green, winning both matchups in the 2022 season, most recently on March 4, 2022 when he scored 85-52. I am winning.

• With Friday’s victory over Brown, Harvard will start the Ivy League game 2-0 for the first time since the 2018-2019 season. With his third victory over Yale on Saturday, Harvard would see Ivy start his league game 3–0 for the first time since the 2016–2017 season.
