Rainy weather last week across the region didn’t stop Bruins from competing in the scheduled competition. The soccer team had to play on other fields as opposed to high school, but they were still able to play.
Below is a roundup of the recent action with Trans-Valley League play in full swing.

On home court, the national team’s Lady Bruins lost a heartbreaker in their only game last week. Riverbank was leading at the end of each of his first three quarters, but the visiting Hewson’s Lady His Huskies took the lead slowly and steadily. They tied in the 4th quarter with a 53-49 final victory over Riverbank.
The girls are out this week. After the news hit the press, they were due to come to Ripon Christian on Tuesday and travel to Livingston for a contest on Thursday, January 19.

On Wednesday, January 11, the Riverbank boys earned their varsity basketball victory by beating the Hewson Huskies 61-59 on the court. They then traveled to Waterford over the weekend to defeat the Wildcats 51-37, making up a rescheduled preseason game.
The Bruins were scheduled to host Ripon Christian High School on Tuesday, Jan. 17, after the news broke. They will wrap up the first round of TVL play by hosting Livingston on Thursday, January 19.

Riverbank’s women’s soccer team played Hewson on Tuesday, January 10th. The Lady Huskies scored first in the first half, but Riverbank came back and scored their own goal in the second half. As a result, both teams ended in a draw, and he was in a 1–1 draw in the Trans Valley League match. The Lady Bruins are scheduled to play at Hilmar on Thursday, January 19th.
