Wofford announced Friday that men’s basketball coach Jay McCauley has resigned from the program.
The move comes after McAuley took a leave of absence after several players went to the university’s administration on December 5 and said they didn’t want to play for him. The forced Macaulay leave surfaced after players expressed concerns about the amount of practice time and other issues.
