That first deal is the club that acquired first baseman Diaz from the Baltimore Orioles on December 23rd. Diaz didn’t stay with the Braves for long, as Atlanta DFAed first base five days later on December 28.
Boston Red Sox – SS Hoy Park (December 16, 2022)
As for Boston, the latest trade between the Braves and Red Sox was also in December, with Atlanta acquiring Park for the PTBNL. But like Diaz before him, Park was DFA’ed by the Braves in late December but was recently outrighted to Triple-A’s Gwinnett.
New York Yankees – LHP Lucas Louegte (December 28, 2022)
As for the New York Yankees, this was a recent deal and was actually the last deal the Atlanta Braves made in 2022. On Dec. 28, in return, a pair of minor leaguers, RHP Indigo Diaz and SS. They sent Caleb Durbin to the Yankees.
Tampa Bay Rays – C Dawson Dimon (June 6, 2022)
The first minor league move on this list comes from the Tampa Bay Rays, who traded catcher Dimon to Atlanta on June 6, 2022. Dimon recently spent the remainder of his 2022 season in his league minors in the Braves organization.
Toronto Blue Jays – 1B Leonel Cares (July 5, 2022)
The AL East wraps up here with the Blue Jays traded about a month after the aforementioned move to Tampa Bay. Also as a minor league move, Atlanta acquired Cares from Toronto on July 5, 2022.
