“He’ll do exactly the same thing he did when he left New England.”
Whether or not Tom Brady will return for his 24th NFL season remains to be seen.
And if the legendary quarterback doesn’t cut his cleats, there’s no guarantee he’ll stay in Tampa Bay.
But two of Brady’s former teammates have already crossed two potential destinations off the list of 45-year-old QBs.
The Buccaneers stand as the odds-on favorites to keep him in service in 2023, but Julian Edelman believes the ship has sailed.
“If he had another season, it wouldn’t be in Tampa Bay. The former Patriots wideout said on a new episode of “Inside the NFL”:at Paramount+. “Tom is a businessman.
Brady headed for greener pastures when he left New England after the 2020 season. But could the Patriots legend return to Foxborough in 2023?
Rob Gronkowski hasn’t put much effort into next season’s storybook reunion.
Gronkowski said during an appearance on the “New Heights” podcast with Travis and Jason Kelce, “I’d be 100% surprised if he returned to New England.” , I really don’t think it’s happening. But you never know.
“I’m not Tom. I’m just demonstrating my analytical skills. I think it’s going to be hard for him to go back to New England. But I’m open.”
Last month, Gronkowski said on Fox News that the Patriots would welcome Brady’s return “with open arms” if the vaunted signal-callers were intrigued by a return in 2023.
Both Edelman and Gronkowski’s predictions run counter to the odds Vegas has set for Brady’s whereabouts in 2023.
The current frontrunner for Brady’s next landing spot is Tampa Bay at +200, with the Patriots tied for fourth-highest odds at +750.
