Over the past three seasons, Nikola Jokic has become one of the best players in the world, not just today, but historically. This season, he’s looking to do something unprecedented by leading his Denver Nuggets (24-12) to his NBA Finals. They are leading the game against the Minnesota Timberwolves (16-21) today, but have struggled with instability this season. Jokic is a back-to-back league MVP, and he could be the first player to win three back-to-back MVPs since Michael his Jordan 30 years ago the way he and the team are playing now.

Jokic had 19 points, 12 rebounds and 12 assists for his 84th career triple-double in Denver’s final 124-119 win over the Miami Heat.
This season, Jokic has been waiting for his returning teammate to get back on track to adjust his pace. He gave space to Jamal Murray (18.2 points, 5.7 assists) and Michael Porter Jr. (16.6 points, 6.0 rebounds) to remove the chorus and regain his rhythm.
Doing so puts the offense even stronger to fifth place in points per game, with Jokic going 62-35-81 with 25.7 points, 10.9 rebounds, 9.5 assists and 1.4 steals per game, the best of what a playmaking big man can do. Split pushing the limits.
