Missouri kicked off conference play with a 74–71 game win for the Kentucky team behind the Monsters’ second period, which gave them a lead to protect all games.
Missouri is gaining momentum in the offensive end this season with the senior duo of Haley Frank and Lauren Hansen.
Frank leads the league with 15.4 points, 3.7 rebounds and 1.7 assists per game, while Hansen is adding 15.1 points, 2.9 rebounds and 1.3 assists per game.
Meanwhile, Auburn’s junior Aisha Koulibaly (16.4 points, 6.0 rebounds, 1.9 assists) and senior Honesty Scott-Grayson (15.8 points, 3.8 rebounds, 2.3 assists) set the pace.
