ORONO, Maine — Women’s basketball teams are invited to join the University of Maine Athletic Department to celebrate the National Girls and Women in Sport Day hosted by Bangor Savings Bank when the women’s basketball team hosts NJIT on Saturday, February 11. it was done.
Prior to their game against NJIT, the Black Bears will host an interactive sports fair at 11am at New Balance Field House. A representative from UMaine’s 17 varsity programs, additional representatives from his UMaine club team, and local athletic attractions are available. Youth will have the opportunity to participate in several drills for various sports and competitive events.
All youth who submit an RSVP to the Interactive Sports Fair are eligible to receive a complimentary ticket to attend the UMaine Women’s Basketball Game vs. NJIT on Saturday, February 11 at 1:00 PM at Memorial Gym. Basketball game vs NJIT. Parents and guardians are eligible for a special group ticket price of $7 to attend the game. All those who register will also receive a free National Girls & Sports Day gift.
