DENVER — — The Nuggets beat Minnesota 122-118 as Jamal Murray hit a go-ahead floater with 55.9 seconds remaining and Nikola Jokic broke Denver’s assist record with his 14th triple-double of the season. Timberwolves Wednesday night.
Murray scored 7 of 28 points in the fourth quarter and helped the Nuggets to a 15-game winning streak at home.
Jokic overcame foul trouble with 31 points, 13 assists and 11 rebounds. His two-time NBA MVP dominance has passed Alex his English for the most assists in team history. Jokic has 3,686 assists in 568 games, while English has 3,679 assists in 837 games in a Denver uniform.
With the Nuggets trailing 118-115, Murray hit a 3-pointer with 2:05 remaining to tie the game.

“He always tells me to have fun. It’s simple, but it can be hard to maintain,” Finch said. “He’s always really positive.”
