What is light sparring?

Boxers refer to light sparring as controlled sparring, which takes place under the supervision of a coach. In this case, the boxer tries to replicate the movement and punches, but force is irrelevant. Also known as touch or controlled sparring. There is also technical sparring and conditioning sparring.

Boxers also used some illegal techniques according to the rules of boxing. Rabbits are not allowed to punch or strike people in the neck or back as this can lead to serious injury. However, the boxer used it and the coach didn’t stop him.
