The Denver Nuggets’ nine-game winning streak is no more. The game against the Oklahoma City Thunder almost went back and forth from the jump, with Denver’s Zeke Nagy hitting his two free throws with 30 seconds left to tie the game at 99. But with just under 10 seconds remaining on his part, SGA took matters into their own hands, knocking down the jumper and giving the Thunder the lead for good. Jamal Murray with just seconds left he missed a shot that could have tied the game from 14 feet out, ending the Nuggets’ league-leading winning streak.

OKC’s win not only ended Denver’s nine-game winning streak, but also ended the Nuggets’ 16-game home winning streak, the longest in a decade. SGA led all scorers with 34. Without Nikola Jokic, the Nuggets finished in double figures despite losing his seven players (led by Jamal Murray’s 26-point effort).

Nets comeback fuels Warriors dub, 120-116

You know who’s pretty nice? Nick Claxton Over the past five games, the Brooklyn big man has averaged 19.2 points and he has 11 rebounds, his best numbers for a big man in his conference start. And on Sunday, he dropped his 24 points and his 15 rebounds to bolster the Nets’ comeback against the Warriors and prove Kyrie his second fiddle worthy of Irving — at least for one night. Irving’s 38 points, 7 rebounds and 9 assists gave the Nets the win after trailing him 17 late in the second half.

After four straight losses, the Nets won two in a row. It may not last long — the Sixers are next on Wednesday night — but the Pistons, Knicks and Lakers will follow. it won’t work.

Knicks lose 4th straight, Raptors win 125-116

Nothing went wrong for the Knicks on Sunday. there is nothing. Without Immanuel Quickley (left knee) and center Mitchell Robinson (broken right thumb), Toronto dominated New York, led by Fred VanVleet with his 28 points. Gary Trent, Jr. (24 years old before fouling out) and Pascal Siakam (24 years old, not fouling out) also led the way to the Raptors, posting a three-game losing streak with top and bottom Knicks handling.

RJ Barrett finished with 30 points, Julius Randle dropped 23 points, and the Knicks had 19 rebounds on a four-game losing streak. No one would call it ideal.

The Lakers put together a second-half comeback to drop the Blazers, 121-112

Despite this, they were leading by 9 points. Most impressive. LeBron James finished with 37 points and 11 rebounds, Thomas Bryant had 31 and 14, and Dennis Schroeder finished with 24 points, six boards and eight dimes. It’s one box score the Lakers will endure as they try to claim a play-in spot as the season progresses.

Full Strength Clippers Handle Mavericks, 112-98

It’s a wonder what your team can do when it’s all-out, all-stars and all. Los Angeles Clippers — yes, that team you once believed to be champion contenders! — Dallas Mavericks He trailed Kawhi Leonard on Sunday by 30 points, Paul George by 21 points and Norman Powell by another 19 points, 14 points behind. Despite the fact that things were close to fourth, the Clip pulled away late, winning their second consecutive game after losing nine out of 11 attempts.
