Minnesota Timberwolves guard Anthony Edwards led the team with 25 points, seven assists and seven rebounds in a 111-100 home win over the Memphis Grizzlies.
The 21-year-old entered the game with fire.

He started with 44 points, 3 blocks and 3 steals against the Houston Rockets on Saturday. He added 31 points and four stolen bases two nights later in a narrow loss to Houston. He scored another 37 points in Wednesday’s win over the New Orleans Pelicans.
Edwards then led the Timberwolves to victory over the Western Conference’s second-place team on Friday.
The former Georgia star dropped 13 points in the third quarter alone, including three 3-pointers. But the biggest highlight occurred in the first game when Edwards flew over Jalen and his Jackson Jr. for a slam.

He also earned an All-Star berth and pushed the Timberwolves to the top six in the conference standings. That means the team will avoid playing in his tournament. Twitter acknowledged his efforts:

The Edwards and Timberwolves, who have won four of their last five games, will face the Sacramento Kings at Target Center on Saturday and Monday.
