Lurye and Stone were supported by their senior girlfriend Zsofia Walter, freshman girlfriend Skylar Knight, and junior Christina Ferrari. Meanwhile, sophomore Lucas Danul stood out with a 12-3 record in the men’s saber. Duke’s only losses were at the hands of NYU for men and No. 8 Penn for women. The Blue Devils kicked off their first home game of the season with a 5-2 victory over Memphis on Friday night. Seniors Andrew Chang and Michael Heller scored doubles points for No. 20 Duke as the tandem remained undefeated for the season. On Sunday, the Blue Devils (3-1) lost their first game of the season, losing to his 16th-ranked Harvard in a scathing 4-3 finish.
