Soccer Milan sink further after losing 0-4 to Lazio | Mighty 790 KFGO

ROME (Reuters) – Lazio were humbled by AC Milan with a stunning 4-0 win at home in Serie A on Tuesday, extending the champions’ winless run to five games in all competitions.

Midfielder Sergei Milinkovic Savich put Lazio in front with a low shot into the bottom left corner after Mattia Zaccani set him up with a cross in the middle of the box.

Zaccani doubled the lead in the 38th minute after midfielder Adam Marcic hit the post from the edge of the six-yard box. The Italian followed up with a tap-in from close range.

Lazio winger Luis Alberto scored 3-0 from the spot after Pierre Carl was awarded a penalty for a foul on Spaniard Pedro.

Midfielder Felipe Anderson closed the scoring for Lazio in the 75th minute, calmly converting Luis Alberto’s precise cross from the edge of the box.

Lazio are third with 37 points from 19 games, one point behind Milan and 13 behind leaders Napoli. He is currently tied with Milan in 4th place and AS Roma in 5th place.
