It’s game time, and this weekend is primed for some serious action! With a lineup of underdogs and thrilling contests that promise high scores, we’re ready for a wild ride.
Here’s your weekend six-pack to get you started!
College Football Picks for Saturday, Oct 26:
FSU +21
Backing FSU at +21 against Miami is a strategic choice considering the Seminoles’ tougher schedule this season. While they may not be elite, Florida State has faced significant competition, which should prepare them for this game. Quarterback Brock Glenn has shown he can lead the offense effectively, and if the Seminoles can tighten up their defense and limit Miami’s big plays, they have a solid shot at keeping the game within 21 points. This 3 touchdown margin gives FSU a favorable opportunity to cover the spread.
UCF/BYU (BYU Moneyline)
I know I know Western time zone teams traveling to Eastern time zones to play and there is always something to that. I feel like the wrong team is favored here. Backing BYU on the moneyline in this game just makes sense, especially with their undefeated record this season. Led by quarterback Jake Retzlaff, who has been consistent in BYU’s passing attack, the Cougars have a proven offense that can keep UCF’s defense on its toes. UCF’s defense, led by linebacker Deshawn Pace, has shown vulnerability against well-organized offenses, which could allow BYU’s offense to set the pace. The simple fact here is that BYU is 7-0 and they have played way tougher opponents thus far compared to 3-4 UCF. look for the Cougars to pull away in the 2nd half and win this one a lot easier than many people think.
Oregon -21.5
Oregon at -21.5 to me is actually an attractive play against Illinois, especially given the Ducks’ consistent high-scoring offense this season. Oregon, led by quarterback Dillon Gabriel and running back Tez Johnson, who has 536 yards this season. This high-powered offense will challenge an Illinois defense that has struggled with containing explosive plays. Additionally, Oregon’s defense, featuring standout linebacker Bryce Boettcher, should be able to contain Illinois’ offense, which has faced challenges in putting up points against tougher opponents. Look for the Ducks to score early and often and Illinois simply doesn’t have the firepower to keep up. This one could be over in the 1st half. I have Oregon winning this one by 29 points so I am not scared of this number at -21.5. The Ducks should cover the spread comfortably, especially with their home-field advantage at Autzen Stadium.
NFL Picks for Sunday, Oct 27:
Cardinals/Dolphins Over 46
Tua is back and that is the best news the Dolphins have heard in awhile (dry those tears Tyreek). They obviously couldn’t do jack diddly squat without him. This Cardinals and Dolphins game is primed for a high-scoring affair, making the over 46 a smart bet. Arizona’s offense, led by quarterback Kyler Murray, has shown the ability to score quickly, particularly with wide receiver Marvin Harrison Jr. making big plays downfield. On the other side, Miami’s explosive offense, featuring Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle, will have someone who can get them the ball again. This team with Tua can put up lots of points in a hurry. With both teams focusing on aggressive passing attacks, expect plenty of fireworks here that should push the total over the number..
Packers/Jaguars +4
Taking the Jaguars at +4 against the Packers is a solid pick, especially considering their home-field advantage. Quarterback Trevor Lawrence was pretty sharp last week in the Jaguars London win (I know it’s the Patriots but still). His connection with Christian Kirk adds a dynamic element to their offense. I see this one as a perfect letdown spot or trap kind of game for the Cheeseheads. The following week they play the Lions and a huge divisional game with playoff implications down the road. It happens all that time that a team like the Packers would kind of look past the Jags. The Packers’ defense, while talented, has had lapses, especially in stopping the big play. If Jacksonville can get their running game going with Travis Etienne, they can control the clock and keep the game close, making it likely they cover the spread.
Bears -2.5
Betting on the Bears at -2.5 against the Commanders looks like a good value, especially considering Chicago’s offensive potential. With Caleb Williams improving weekly and showing a strong connection with wide receiver D.J. Moore, the Bears can exploit Washington’s defensive weaknesses. Additionally, with Jayden Dainiels has bruised ribs which is very painful to play through. I just dont know if he plays if he will be at 100% or be able to play the entire game. One big hit to his mid section and he could be on the bench. Chicago will be able to have more control over the game. If the Bears can establish an early lead and maintain momentum, they should comfortably cover the spread. I have the Bears winning this one by a TD.

Ravens -3 & Lions -5.5 Teaser “Pay Your Mortgage” Pick
Ok bonus pick! Let’s have a little fun with this one by going with a two team 6 point teaser. Lets go ahead and buy the Ravens down to -3 points from -9. Then let’s put that one with the Lions and buy them down from -11.5 to -5.5. The Ravens, with Lamar Jackson leading a strong offense, have been dominant against most defenses and should easily cover the adjusted spread over the Browns. Meanwhile, the Lions, flexing a high-scoring offense with Jared Goff and a potent running game led by Jahmyr Gibbs, can overwhelm their opponent. The Titans are simply just awful this season and I dont see them staying within 10 points so taking the Lions at -5.5 seems like a no brainer. This two teams with adjusted point spreads has a high probability of winning according to my AI models.
